happy birthday1. Fold 5 1/2” x 8 1/4” Yukon Gold cardstock in half to form card base.

2. Paint a thin layer of Glue N Seal onto a piece of Clearly For Art and cover with newsprint. Brayer over the newsprint, being careful not to get any Glue N Seal onto the newsprint, and then dry with the Heat-It tool.

3. Use Jet Black to stamp the hydrangea onto the paper side of the Clearly For Art. Stamp one full image, and then stamp the flower portion a second time.

4. Lay the coordinating stencil over the leaves area and ink with Fern

Green. Reposition the stencil and ink the flowers with Cornflower.

5. Use Hydrangea to ink the second flowers.

6. Cut out the stamped images and heat the Clearly For Art with the Heat-It tool to soften the Clearly For Art. While the Clearly For Art is warm, shape the leaves and bend some of the flower petals as shown.

7. Add foam tape to the back of the flower and layer over the full image. If desired, offset the layers so the bottom layer peeks through.

8. Accent each of the flower centers with a dot using black glaze pen.

9. Use Jet Black ink to stamp the hosta two times onto the paper side of the Clearly For Art and cut out just the leaves. Ink with Fern Green and then heat to shape. Add foam tape and layer the pieces together.

10. Ink one large flower pot and one small flower pot with Buttercup. Add shading to the edges with Brushed Corduroy, using blending tool.

11. Ink the Perfectly Plaid background stamp with Watering Can & press the flower pot pieces onto the inked stamp. Stamp just the top portion of the large flower pot and stamp the whole small flower pot. Glue the pieces together to create the layered flower pots.

12. Ink 3 3/4” x 5 1/2” Manila Surface lightly with Brushed Corduroy using blending tool.

13. Use Fern Green to ink the Perfectly Plaid background stamp, and then press the top and bottom of the Manila Surface onto the inked stamp to create borders.

14. Ink the Vintage Quilt stencil with Buttercup and Ink Blending Tool to color in the area between the borders. Accent the center of the pattern with dots using black glaze pen.

15. Use Jet Black to stencil “wishing you a” on the top border and “happy birthday” over the bottom border. Use Post-It Notes or painter’s tape to mask off the unwanted words before stenciling.

16. To assemble, add foam tape under the flowers and attach to the card. Add the large flower pot over the flowers, with the leaves on top of the pot.
